About Lea D.
I’m Dr. Lea J. Devers, an educator and leadership coach with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and organizations grow. I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s in Educational Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Journalism. I am also certified as a Superintendent, Principal, Legacy Master Reading Teacher, ESL Teacher, and Classroom Teacher.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about developing leaders, coaching educators, and creating systems that lead to lasting success. As a leader who successfully turned around an underperforming campus, I understand the challenges of leadership and the importance of having the right support. I’ve coached district leaders, principals, and aspiring educators to build confidence, strengthen their leadership skills, and achieve measurable results.
My coaching style is supportive, collaborative, and focused on results. I believe in asking the right questions, helping you clarify your goals, and guiding you to create strategies that truly work. Whether you’re stepping into a new role, navigating change, or looking to grow your leadership team, I’m here to help you succeed.

Have you ever asked yourself similar questions? As a leader, sometimes I felt like I was running on a hamster wheel, moving as fast as I could but staying in the same spot. Doing “all the things,” but not seeing lasting results. I did not start to see the fruits of my labor until a few experienced coaches and mentors stepped in and pointed me in the right direction.
Now, I get to LeaD with purpose, and on purpose, and I want you to join me.
I have lived the realities of campus and district leadership, leadership coaching, instructional improvement, professional learning, and school turnaround. Through this work, I’ve learned something critical: leaders are often told what to do, but rarely supported in how to do it effectively within the complexity of their real context. This is where I come in.

I understand that effectiveness and impact require tailored approaches, and I partner with leaders to address their unique challenges by identifying obstacles and implementing targeted strategies that reflect their values and school communities.
